About the Presentation

Unless you are in the military, the days of command and control are dead. Successful leaders must be able to work with diverse groups and motivate them toward a common purpose. Furthermore, project managers often lead in matrixed environments where they must influence without authority, so skill in effective collaboration is key.

Does your team swirl? Is it siloed? Is there a lack of psychological safety? In many organizations, collaboration is noted as a core value, but it will not flourish in the wild. Collaboration must be actively cultivated. Join us as we explore how to lead collaborative teams with compassion, clarity, and courage.

Learning Objectives:

·         Collaboration must be cultivated.

·         Compassion is foundational for building trust.

·         Clarity is charity: clarity of purpose, clarity in communications, clarity in success metrics.

·         Leaders must be courageous in their ability to give and receive feedback to drive team effectiveness.
