A: Online registration is available until 10:00pm PT two days before a scheduled event, unless otherwise specified. Special events may have an earlier event registration deadline and will include such notice on their event postings on our website. If you register for an event and receive an error message or are unsure if something is wrong, send an email to finance as soon as possible.
A:If you missed the time period for online registration, you may be able to \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"walk in\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" and pay the \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\"walk in\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\" fee at the door. If an event reaches maximum capacity before the scheduled date of the event, online registration will close early.

A: PDUs are short for \"Professional Development Units\". They are used to measure professional activities for the purpose of PMP certification renewal. More information is available here.
A: Yes, there are classes offered by the PMI-OC chapter for the purpose of PMP certification. PMI-OC offers a PMP Prep class several times a year.
A: A SIG is an abbreviation for Special Interest Groups. Being part of a SIG allows members to network with specialized groups/professions within project management. A: To obtain reimbursement, you must submit your expenses by completing an expense reimbursement form, corresponding receipts and approval from the sponsoring Board Director.
A: Beginning in January of 2009, PMI-OC has implemented a new registration process that requires an id and is more efficient.Click how-to-register.pdf for the step by step instructions.
A: It's a Category 3 PDU. Follow these steps.
1. Log on to www.PMI.org
2. Click on View PDUs (left nav, middle of the page).
3. Under "PDU Activity as of (todays date is shown)", click on Report PDU
4. Under "PDU Activity", select Category 3 Registered Education Provider from the drop down menu
5. Under "Activity Type" select Find an Activity & click NEXT
6. Enter "Provider Number:" C026, and "Activity Number" type the activity number, or the date of the activity
7. Click "Search" to display the activity. Click on the activity number and you'll be at Step 3.
8. Enter the date started, date completed, and check the boxes in the two questions. Click NEXT.
9. Verify PDU's, click to Agree this claim is accurate.
10. Click Submit.
