PMI Orange County Chapter is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit organization. It is recognized as a dynamic and innovative organization of Project Management Professionals dedicated to serving the Orange County community through the advancement of Project Management.
We are one of the largest PMI chapters. Our Chapter has over 1,800 members out of which there are over 1,260 members with official credentials from Project Management Institute, nearly 70%!
Sponsors play a vital role in supporting our Chapter and the profession of Project Management in addition to expanding the array of value-added services offered by the Chapter.
The PMI-OC Chapter offers the following to our members:
- Dinner Meetings allow members to meet regularly with other professionals, hear featured speakers discuss current Project Management related issues and learn about job openings.
- Career Center where members can post resumes, search jobs, and receive notices of job postings.
- Professional Development activities provide opportunities for professional growth and development within our industry (including exploring the benefits of formal certification by the Project Management Institute).
- PMI Publications shares key learnings of the Project Management discipline with over 100,000 colleagues around the world.
- Conferences and Seminars presented by PMI and the Chapter are designed to deliver practical Project Management tips and suggestion for enhancing leadership skills.
- Specific Interest Groups (SIGs) focus on the practice of Project Management within specific interest areas, such as IT, Aerospace, Healthcare, Product Development, and Women in Project Management.
- Annual Awards Dinner recognizes the contributions of our Chapter Volunteers, and our Sponsors.
