Description of Topic/Presentation: At this event, we will discuss "How to Win Friends and Influence People" by Dale Carnegie. In this influential leadership book, Carnegie provides a timeless guide to meaningful relationships, strengthening communication skills, leading without formal authority, and becoming more effective in both personal and professional settings. Together, we’ll explore practical, real-world techniques and strategies for connecting with others, earning trust, and positively influencing outcomes–without manipulation or force. Through relatable stories and actionable principles, the book offers insights that are especially valuable for professionals looking to lead, collaborate, and navigate stakeholder relationships with confidence. In a project environment where success depends on communication and collaboration, these skills help project managers build trust quickly, navigate competing priorities, and guide teams toward successful delivery with less friction and stronger engagement.
