Presentation Description

Description of Topic/Presentation:

“Generative AI for Project Managers: Practical Techniques You Can Use Today”

Generative AI is becoming a core skill across professions — and project managers can benefit immediately. In this interactive session, we’ll focus on practical techniques for real PM workflows like meeting synthesis, stakeholder updates, and risk analysis. Please bring a laptop, phone, or tablet so you can follow along and try the tools yourself. You’ll learn simple prompts that consistently work, practice them live, and leave with guardrails, checklists, and next steps to integrate GenAI into your projects.

Learning Objectives:

  • Apply Generative AI in Project Management Workflows
Participants will learn how to use GenAI tools to enhance key project management activities such as meeting synthesis, stakeholder communication, and risk analysis.
  • Develop Effective Prompting Skills
Participants will practice creating and using simple, reliable prompts through live exercises, gaining confidence in applying AI tools directly during the session.
  • Establish Practical Guardrails and Next Steps
Participants will leave with actionable checklists, ethical guardrails, and a roadmap for integrating Generative AI into their day-to-day project workflows.
