Presentation Description |
Description of Topic/Presentation: We all have professional goals we would like to achieve in pursuit of our career ambitions. These goals can take the form of earning a certification, practicing your presentation skills, increasing your attendance at networking events or applying for that new job or promotion. But somewhere along the way even the most committed professionals can run into obstacles in staying accountable to their stated professional goals. This event will explore the reasons why it can be difficult to hold yourself accountable to your committed goals, introduce you to two professionals who came up with a creative solution to this issue by committing to holding each other accountable, and share tips on how you can hold a partner of yours accountable if you decide to put this tactic to work in your own life. In this talk, Mi Tran and Madison Gonzales-Zraick will share their experiences with holding each other accountable for their goals. Through this session, you’ll learn valuable lessons from a real-world example and have the opportunity to begin working with your own partner in accountability to achieve your industry specific goals. You will learn:
