Description of Topic/Presentation: Join PMI-OC’s Industry Affinity Groups for an exhilarating social exercise while participating in The BRAVE RACE, hosted by The Joyful Child Foundation - In Memory of Samantha Runnion. The Joyful Child Foundation is dedicated to preventing crimes against children through programs that educate, empower, and unite families and communities. Your participation benefits The Joyful Child's Be Brave-Be Safe Empowerment Programs. Join PMI-OC’s Industry Affinity Groups while participating in the Brave Race for a 1k, 5k, or 10k run at Wolverine Stadium in Aliso Viejo, CA on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Participants can walk or run a 1K, 5K, 10K, or if you're feeling brave, do both the 5K & the 10K Joyful Challenge! This is an active networking event/opportunity to begin the new year by meeting fellow project managers and stakeholders in Orange County’s exciting and growing industries. Participants are not required to run; people can walk the race or simply not participate and socialize with the group before and after the race. The need for projects is great and PMI-OC Industry Affinity Groups’ mission is to help project managers “hear and answer the need for projects”. Join us for a fun event which will allow us to network while getting some exercise. Dress in clothes that you feel comfortable running/walking in, and be sure to bring a jacket in case it’s chilly. This event is organized solely by The Joyful Child Organization. PMI-OC shall bear no liability or responsibility for any injuries, losses, damages, or claims arising out of participation in the event. By participating, all individuals acknowledge that they are doing so at their own risk and release PMI-OC from any and all liability related to the event. Registration Fees (in-person): Joyful Challenge - $50 (until 11/13/24); $65 (until 2/13/25); $75 (effective 2/14/25)

For online registrations, we accept only credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express using PayPal) and payment must be paid in full at the time of registration. For walk-in registrations, we accept credit cards (no cash). If you register for an event online and receive an error message or are unsure if something is wrong, please send an email to support.request@pmi-oc.org as soon as possible
Cancellation Policy
Reservations must be canceled no later than 10 pm PST two days prior to the event in order to receive a refund. All cancellations (including duplicate registrations) are subject to a 10% Administrative Fee. To cancel, send an email to registration_cancel@pmi-oc.org and include your name and the event.
