Bio

Vazi Okhandiar, DBA

Dr. Vazi Okhandiar is the Vice President Of Engineering and leads the product development, solutions engineering and research and development for analytics products with AI at mLogica. With more than thirty years of experience in management, architecture and design, she has helmed IT implementation projects for private and public sector clients, including the World Bank, Toyota, General Motors, UPS and many more. An expert in enterprise data management, distributed database design and implementation, e-commerce, mobile and IoT technology, she has architected and managed multi-million-dollar projects worldwide for industries including automotive, entertainment, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and telecommunication.

Vazi previously worked as a lead technologist for Electronic Data Systems (now HPE) and Computer Science Corporation (CSC), and as the head of the department of Computer Science at National University. She has been awarded “Excellence in Development” for the development of an electronic billing system for Mitsubishi’s telecommunication division and “Excellence in Development” for the product data management system at Electronic Data Systems (HPE).

A recipient of a certificate of commendation from the United States Congress as well as commendations from various state and local agencies, 

Vazi has a Doctor of Business Administration from Walden University. She also has an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and a master’s in computer science from the Illinois Institute of Technology. She has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of California, Irvine, and is also a certified project management professional (PMP).

For walk-in registrations, cash or check are accepted.

Cancellation Policy:

Reservations must be cancelled no later than 10 pm PST three days prior to the event in order to receive a refund. All cancellations (including duplicate registrations) are subject to a 10% Administrative fee. To cancel, send an email to registration_cancel@pmi-oc.org and include your name and event.
