- On every project there are certain skills that a project manager must possess in order to be most effective. Some include communication, collaboration and planning skills, to name a few. However, the most important skills of a successful project manager are leadership skills.
- In this ATS course, you will learn the types of interpersonal skills, with a focus on leadership, to help you lead your teams to ensure project success.
Practice Exercise:
- This presentation will include breakout room exercises for each of these topics.
- Attendees will discuss real-life examples of Pros & Cons for each of these types of leadership.

Professor Kevin W. Reilly
Independent Contractor and Primary Instructor for the ‘Project Management Certification Coach', offering PMI Exam Prep training and coaching. 11+ years of experience teaching CAPM, PMP, PMI-ACP exam prep courses and Agile courses, and taught and coached hundreds of students to help them pass these exams.
Strong believer in volunteerism as a way of paying it forward, improving my skills, and transferring knowledge to others. Currently volunteer as the Deputy V.P. of Programs and Speakers Bureau Director for the PMI San Diego chapter, as a PMP Exam Prep Instructor for the PMI Orange County chapter, and as a special event speaker for PMI chapters.
Project Manager in Software Development and IT industries for 15+ years as a Waterfall Project Manager and Agile Scrum Master, providing a variety of services including; implementing Waterfall and Agile project management best practices, executing large and complex Waterfall and Agile projects, and performing activities to scale Agile across the enterprise for myriad organizations.

This ATS will be delivered via online webinar. The link will be sent to all registered attendees on the Friday before the ATS.

For walk-in registrations, cash or check are accepted.

Cancellation Policy:
Reservations must be cancelled no later than 10 pm PST three days prior to the event in order to receive a refund. All cancellations (including duplicate registrations) are subject to a 10% Administrative fee. To cancel, send an email to registration_cancel@pmi-oc.org and include your name and event.
