David will discuss the lifecycle of a project in healthcare utilizing the concept of phase gates. He will discuss how each of the phases which involves Initiate, Planning, Design, Build and Unit Testing, Integrated Testing, Deployment/Go-Live, and Project Closure are used during the lifecycle of a project at CHOC Children's. He will also discuss how Capacity Management plays a role in the concept of phase gates. |

Speaker Bio(s) |
David Bobrow: David Bobrow, PMP leads the execution of non-strategic and strategic initiatives as part of the PMO at CHOC Children’s Information Services Department. He has successfully led numerous project implementations at CHOC for the last 7 years. Before he became a project manager, he had 23 years of experience working in IT for healthcare organizations such as CHOC Children’s, Perot Systems, St. Joseph Health System (now known as Providence/St. Joseph Health), and Loma Linda University Medical Center. |

Cancellation Policy
