Project Management and Transformational Change at City of Hope- Insight and Lessons Learned from an Electronic Health Record Implementation
In this session, we will discuss the journey that City of Hope took to drive transformational change via the implementation of the leading electronic health record system (Epic). This includes the enterprise wide impact to the people, processes, and technology that such an implementation triggered. Lastly, the key insights gained and lessons learned from a project and change management perspective will be discussed.

Asad Iqbal
As part of the Enterprise Program Management and Process Improvement department within the Transformation Office at City of Hope, Asad Iqbal, MS, PMP, PMI-ACP supports the execution of enterprise strategic initiatives and projects. He has been leading projects at the Duarte medical center for 3 years. Asad has over 9 years of experience working in the healthcare IT and hospital sector and holds a Masters in Health Information Management from Claremont Graduate University.
