“You Always Have Enough Time”

Speaker: Tammo T. Wilkens, MBA, P.E., PMP, CSM

November 12, 2025

Presentation Description

Description of Topic/Presentation:

“You Always Have Enough Time”

This presentation is a participative journey into the secrets of completing your projects on time.  Using real life examples to illustrate that projects always have enough time to finish within their deadline, attendees are given the opportunity to practice the concepts.  Consideration is given to Agile deliveries and the advent of AI with a demonstration of how AI is making inroads into the “holy sanctum” of CPM scheduling.

Learning outcomes include gaining confidence that we do indeed have enough time and that we don’t need to be afraid of AI supplanting the scheduling practitioners.

  • Recognize the Value of Human Expertise in Scheduling
    • Participants will be able to identify the unique strengths and judgment that scheduling practitioners bring to project delivery, which AI cannot replicate.
  • Develop Confidence in Time Management Approaches
    • Participants will practice reframing their perspective on time to see that there is “enough time,” reducing stress and strengthening their ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Evaluate AI as a Supportive Tool, Not a Replacement
    • Participants will analyze how AI can enhance scheduling accuracy and efficiency while understanding why practitioner insight remains essential for decision-making.
