Description of Topic/Presentation:

At this event, we all will discuss the book under selection, “The Mensch Method: Achieving Success Through Character in Life and Business” by Todd Zive. Through reading the book, we will learn about developing effective leadership skills driven by character that fosters trust, collaboration, and long-term project success through reviewing lessons demonstrated by various case studies and actionable exercises.
The title of the book emphasizes the idea that effective leaders need to be virtuous, including exemplifying virtues such as integrity, resilience, and accountability. This dovetails into project management because we, as project managers, commonly need to have the trust from those on our teams in our work in order to promote and achieve successful projects.

We will use the meeting as a chance to discuss the validity and viability of his ideas of what is important to know about character-driven leadership in an organization and how that kind of leadership can be used by project managers to promote project and organizational success.

Speaker Bio

Todd Zive

Todd Zive is a senior executive leader, advisor, philanthropist, and investor with over 25 years of global success in the medical technology industry. Throughout his corporate career, Todd scaled businesses to $500M+ and led large, high performing teams. Since founding ZGL Group, Inc. in 2022, he has focused on driving business growth, providing strategic leadership, and building strong company cultures for clients.

Todd holds an MBA, a BS in Biomedical Engineering, and certifications in Corporate Governance, Executive Coaching, and Venture Capital. In his personal time, he enjoys cooking, watching sports, and spending time with his wife, two children, and two goldendoodles.
