- The various vehicles of communication, including emerging technologies (i.e., verbal, virtual, AI)ustomer Relationships and Satisfaction
- Legal implications of each type of communication (such as: what is discoverable? Privacy & cybersecurity considerations, what is protected by attorney-client privilege?)
- Trends to look for and how to incorporate into best practices (such as: looking at recent court decisions and potential legislation, disclaimers, disclosures)
Practice Excercise:
- Case study/simulation group exercises & discussions
Bio
Virginia Suveiu, Esq.
Virginia A. Suveiu, Esq., counsels on risk management, regulatory compliance and commercial law matters, including the entire contract life cycle. She has held related positions, such as Director of Risk Management, Chief Safeguard Officer and Of Counsel. She edited Routledge Handbook of Risk Management and the Law. Virginia is also a mediator and arbitrator, including for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and served on the editorial board of National Contract Management Association’s Contract Management Magazine. She is affiliated with, advised, and has been invited to speak to several professional associations on business law-related matters. She is an active member of the State Bar of California and admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. Virginia has held numerous positions in academia, including as founding dean, adjunct professor at Concordia University Irvine, instructor and content developer for UC Irvine, from where she was given the Distinguished Instructor Award.

For walk-in registrations, cash or check are accepted.

Cancellation Policy:
Reservations must be cancelled no later than 10 pm PST three days prior to the event in order to receive a refund. All cancellations (including duplicate registrations) are subject to a 10% Administrative fee. To cancel, send an email to registration_cancel@pmi-oc.org and include your name and event.
