Presentation Title:
Supporting Process Improvements with Project Management
Presentation Topics:
- Align project prioritization to organizational goals and strategies
- Alignment of project management tools to process improvement projects
- Using an A3 Template to guide and communicate process improvement projects
Practice Exercise:
- Session will include breakout sessions to work together in small groups to use process improvement tools applied to a real process. At the end of the session each participant will have a completed workbook and A3 based on the process improvement tools used.
Bio
Amy Altomare
Dr. Amy Altomare has 16 years of experience in facilitating project management, operations management, and process improvement in the service industry. As the Program Director for Clinical Quality, Strategy, and Optimization at City of Hope, Amy facilitates the structure to support quality improvement and evidence-based practice initiatives in nursing. She earned her Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership in 2022. Amy also holds her Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Project Management Professional. Amy strives to produce innovative, team-driven solutions to opportunities while developing staff and managers to grow and advance.

This ATS will be delivered via online webinar. The link will be sent to all registered attendees on the Friday before the ATS.

For walk-in registrations, cash or check are accepted.

Cancellation Policy:
Reservations must be cancelled no later than 10 pm PST three days prior to the event in order to receive a refund. All cancellations (including duplicate registrations) are subject to a 10% Administrative fee. To cancel, send an email to registration_cancel@pmi-oc.org and include your name and event.
