Bio:

Shaundra Toy

Shaundra Toy has decades of experience leading complex organizational change initiatives within the global color and print industry. She recognized that the great transition into the digital age would divide many in her industry into winners or losers. Today, her clients are those who mastered the digital divide and emerged ready to seize the opportunities that exist in the new world. Currently, she is a Technical Sales Engineer for Screen Americas in High Speed Inkjet. She has also worked for Pantone, Kodak and Creo developing Professional Services and Global Brand Initiatives for clients like P&G, Target, 3M and Colgate-Palmolive.

Toy is PMP certified, double certified in change management, has mentored new project managers, taught many advanced seminars for the Project Management Institute (PMI) and is currently earning a minor in User Experience Research along with her Bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies. Toy has combined years of certifications in leadership and communication with experience in project management to speak on topics such as Thinking in Systems, problem-solving beyond just the problem, and building momentum for change.

Inspired by the complexity of systems and their flow, Shaundra Toy’s recent TedTalk “Catching the Wave of Organizational Change” explores the Who-Why-How-What of organizational change, which when strategically implemented together can produce a rapid change initiative that is highly successful, less painful, and more fiscally responsible.

Shaundra Toy currently lives in Southern California with her family and their three rescue dogs Bella, Flynn, and Turbo. She loves to work in her vegetable garden, walk thru local parks, ride her bike on the beach trails, and volunteers with PMI and various industry and women's groups. View her recent TedTalk on YouTube, book her to speak thru her website where you can also view recommendations, or connect with her on LinkedIN. You can also reach her at shaundra.toy@gmail.com.
