2017 December Dinner Meeting --1PDU

Date: December 12, 2017
|
Presentation Description |
Don’t miss the upcoming December Member Appreciation dinner meeting
Come join us for an evening of fun, networking, learning something new from the Army Special Forces presented by Joe Hudak, and giving back to the community. There will be raffles and prizes at the end of the evening.
PMI-OC is a big advocate for the Toys for Tots which is an initiative by the U. S. Marine Corps Reserve. The mission of this initiative is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community in which the campaign is conducted.
Please bring a new, unwrapped gift to donate to Toys for Tots.
The U.S. Army Special forces, aka The Green Berets, are famous for doing more with less. Special Forces operators are trained in expecting the unexpected (may sound familiar to project managers) from the first day of training.
Join us for a truly special evening, with our guest speaker Joe Hudak. Joe is a retired Special Forces Medic, who will bring his experience and insight dealing with change under what are often extreme and extraordinary circumstances. He will discuss the type of projects (missions) and people that are associated with the special forces, and how his experiences can be translated to a working world faced with dynamic changes, limited resources and an often uncertain business and political environment.
