Here is what I understand:
Project Charter is the very first document, essentially for which, the project is executed.
This document, for the most part, would also remain fairly static and can present the intent clearly.
Having said that, during my two decades of experience as a Project Consultant I did not observe any PMO (or PM) to share this document pro-actively, at least in those cases where it did exist.
I have two questions:
1. I am curious as to what has been your experience about Project Charter being shared?
2. Should not it be 'the' document to align deliveries, agendas, schedules, objectives and all that amongst the team members and should be used as the first project team training document ?
