Amir Khamseh has been a member of PMI-OC since 2007. He has over 17 years experience as a project/program manager, working in the automotive and medical device industries.
Amir has a PhD in engineering from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor and an Executive MBA from the University of California-Irvine Paul Merage School of Business.
Amir served as the Director of Strategy for PMI-OC in 2011. His goals for joining PMI-OC chapter’s Board of Governors are to ensure alignment of organization’s mission and values with PMI, ensure alignment of organization’s mission and values with customer needs, and evaluate risks vs. benefits of PMI-OC provided programs and services.
Gregory (Greg) Scott brings over two decades of Project, Engineering, Manufacturing and IT Management experience to his clients. With a proven track record of varied management positions, successful projects in diverse business environments and a unique combination of experience and education, his cross-functional skills are available to the client’s needs. Greg’s experience is supported by a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Drexel University and Masters of Science in Systems Management from the University of Southern California, further enhanced with a number of business and law related courses. Project management skills are enhanced by active membership in the Project Management Institute and continued studies to maintain the PMP certification.
Greg has been a member of PMI-OC since 2003 and earned his PMP a few weeks after completing the PMI-OC PMP Prep course. In addition to attendance at Dinner Meetings and other PMI events, he has served on the Nominating Committee, SoTec Conference committee for four conferences and attended strategic planning workshops. He was appointed to the VP-Finance on the Board of Governors to fill an unexpected vacancy in October 2010. He was elected to the BOG for the new term starting April 2011 and continued in the VP Finance position. Greg looks forward to serv ing the chapter in the role of President and encourages our members to enhance their PMI OC exsperience by volunteering and participating in as many events as they can..

With over 30 years’ experience as a Software Engineering Project and Program Manager, Michael has been a member of the PMI-OC chapter since 2011. He has worked in the defense and commercial software industries, including as a Program Manager at Hewlett Packard and a Project Team Leader at Boeing. Michael excelled as a Webmaster on the IT team and then IT Director, before moving up to serve on the Board of Governors as the VP of Administration and Technology. In 2013 he was honored as Volunteer of the Year, an award that recognizes outstanding volunteer service. Michael’s contributions to the chapter include leading the IT team in implementing the latest version of the PMI-OC website, the online advertising/sponsorship store, the integration of the Milestones Magazine into the chapter’s website, and the upgrade of the website in support of the 2014 Annual Conference.
Goals as Vice President of Administration and Technology:
Provide leadership in the continued development of the chapter’s IT infrastructure, including implementation of a state of the art website, IT technologies, and tools to support the collaboration of chapter’s hard-working volunteer teams.
Build an Administration team that enhances both the membership and volunteer experience, in addition to ensuring that the basic operational needs of the chapter are met.
Ensure that the volunteer experience at PMI-OC is not only engaging and fun, but also rewarding for those who generously donate their time. It’s important to support and mentor the individuals who have made Project Management their carrier choice.
I am currently the Membership Director of PMI - Orange County Chapter. I have worked in the Information Technology industry for over 15 years in Project, Program and Portfolio Management. In this role, I have managed large, global programs in diverse industries, including Aerospace, Telecom, IT Digital Technology and Social Media. I have played key roles in establishing Program and Portfolio Management as a recognized function in both organizations and industry, establishing Change Management and PMOs in organizations. I have also been a hiring manager for many years. In this role, I have managed training and mentoring for project management staff, cross-functional teams and peers for several Fortune 500 companies.
I have MS degree in Computer Science and an MBA in Business Administration with Project Management Professional (PMP®) and Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications.
My experience with PMIOC:
• Sponsored and facilitated PMI-OC Chapter “New Member Orientation” and “Networking” events.
• Promoted PMI and PMI-OC chapter membership as Membership Director.
• Developed and implemented a plan to recognize member milestones
• Developed and implemented membership welcomes and support plans
• Developed and implemented succession and transition plans.
• Developed and implemented a member retention program
• Worked with Student Discount Program and Corporate Outreach
Kaustubh has been a member for PMI-OC since 2012. He currently manages a portfolio of solutions focusing on the Criminal Justice and Public Security market and has more than 10 years of experience as a project/program manager applied in the field of biometrics.
Kaustubh has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the West Virginia University and a Master of Business Administration from the New York University’s Stern School of Business.
Kaustubh started volunteering for the chapter as part of the Finance Group since 2012 and has held various positions in the group including most recently the Director of Finance. One of his successes has been to identify efficiencies within the organization while focusing on improving member value.
His goals for joining the PMI Board of Governors are to ensure alignment with the chapter mission and goal by helping grow the chapter and focusing on member satisfaction with increased offerings. He understands the importance of the role volunteers play in the success of the chapter and believes in empowering them in their efforts, while always appreciating and backing their dedication, hard work and commitment towards the chapter.
Narmela Sargis is a Senior Program Manager with over 20 years of experience and known for proven success in Program, Portfolio, Project and Leadership Management for Fortune 500 companies. She is adept at driving multiple complex projects and managing employees across departments. She embodies a unique combination of customer focus, business champion and operations excellence.
Narmela excels at articulating vision and purpose and leading teams to success. She was recently promoted to VP of Operations at PMI-OC.
Narmela is PMP, Scrum Master and ISO9001 Certified; holds a double MBA; and is passionate about various charities.
Cindy has been a member of PMI since 2004 and a member of PMI-OC since 2006. She has over 25 years experience as a IT project manager, working in a variety of industries such as retail, distribution, manufacturing and entertainment. She has been volunteering for PMI-OC since 2006 in launching the new website from the ground up and has received the Top Volunteer Award 3 years in a row and the 2008 President’s Award for Oustanding Achievement. In 2010, as the PMI-OC IT Director, she has streamlined the cycle of setting up the events, set up procedures and policies for IT and established the process of uploading all events information to a centralized repository resulting in a more efficient flow and saving a tremendous time for our volunteers.
