Narmela Sargis is a Senior Program Manager with over 20 years of experience and known for proven success in Program, Portfolio, Project and Leadership Management for Fortune 500 companies. She is adept at driving multiple complex projects and managing employees across departments. She embodies a unique combination of customer focus, business champion and operations excellence. Narmela excels at articulating vision and purpose and leading teams to success. She was recently promoted to VP of Operations at PMI-OC. Narmela is PMP, Scrum Master and ISO9001 Certified; holds a double MBA; and is passionate about various charities.
Kaustubh has been a member for PMI-OC since 2012. He currently manages a portfolio of solutions focusing on the Criminal Justice and Public Security market and has more than 10 years of experience as a project/program manager applied in the field of biometrics. Kaustubh has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the West Virginia University and a Master of Business Administration from the New York University’s Stern School of Business. Kaustubh started volunteering for the chapter as part of the Finance Group since 2012 and has held various positions in the group including most recently the Director of Finance. One of his successes has been to identify efficiencies within the organization while focusing on improving member value. His goals for joining the PMI Board of Governors are to ensure alignment with the chapter mission and goal by helping grow the chapter and focusing on member satisfaction with increased offerings. He understands the importance of the role volunteers play in the success of the chapter and believes in empowering them in their efforts, while always appreciating and backing their dedication, hard work and commitment towards the chapter.
Paya has been a diligent volunteer at PMI-OC for a number of years and was the Director of Online Programs before moving to his current position as the Vice President of Administration and Technology. He joined PMI-OC in 2016 as a volunteer to lead a team within the finance group.
Ramya Kailas is a Lead Technical Project Manager with over 15 years of experience and known for a successful and proven track record of Data, Leadership and Project Management. She has led several cost-cutting and revenue growing project opportunities for her employer, while leading a wide array of diverse teams towards successful business results. Her organizational skills, collaborative and measured approach, and extensive experience have given her a unique ability to connect with associates in a meaningful way and effectively lead passionate and energetic teams to success. She was recently promoted to VP of Communications at PMI-OC after serving as the Director of Knowledge Management for 5 years. A graduate of UCLA & USC, Ramya is a dual degree holder, an MBA graduate and a certified Project Management Professional.
