2021 Spring PMP®/CAPM® Exam Prep Workshop - Online 

Description:

This workshop is intended for anyone who wishes to achieve their PMP® or CAPM® certification after meeting the requirements as identified by PMI®PMP requirements / CAPM requirements.

As a PMI Authorized Training Partner, our workshop will help you prepare for exam success and will provide you with the eligibility requirement of 35 contact hours in project management education for PMP® (or 23 contact hours in project management for CAPM®).  Our workshop classes are led by PMI-vetted instructors who are equipped to deliver training content developed by PMI®.

Students will be provided with all necessary study materials. Students are encouraged to visit PMI.com and (after signing up and becoming a PMI member) download the free electronic copy of the PMBOK® Guide. Although not required for this workshop, it is encouraged that students download or obtain the printed manuscript before the workshop begins, as some sessions will refer directly to pages in the PMBOK. Please make sure to consider about a 1 to 2-week lead time for any ordered materials to arrive before the workshop starts. NOTE: This course is NOT intended to teach the participant project management nor is it intended to impart project management industry experience. Its primary purpose is to prepare the participant for the PMP® exam based on the PMI® identified domains and PMI® recommended preparation material.

The Spring session begins Apr 3, 2021 and ends May 15, 2021. Each day of class consists of a morning class (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) and an afternoon class (1:00 PM – 5:00 PM). And yes… these two periods are different!  Course materials will be distributed on (or after shortly after) the first day of class – virtually.

Which PMBOK version?

As you can see from #5 in the above link, the PMBOK® Guide is an input to preparing for the PMP® exam, but it is not a test-preparation tool.  The new PMP® exam will continue to use the PMBOK® Guide – 6th Edition as one of several references.  The new exam has been planned for some time, and is not related to the release of the PMBOK® Guide – 7th Edition.

**Group Rate:   The group rate is applied to three (3) or more students coming from the same organization. This means that if a prospective student convinces at least two (2) co-workers to take the class with them, each person will only pay $800.00 for the Group Rate of the workshop. We will only accept online payments for the group rate. Payment must be made for the ENTIRE group by one online payment. Policy

Reservations must be cancelled no later than 10:00 PM (Pacific Time) two days prior to the start of the event in order to receive a refund. All cancellations (including duplicate registrations) are subject to a 10% administrative fee. To cancel, send an email to registration_cancel@pmi-oc.org and include your name and the event.   No refunds will be provided after the 1st day of the workshop.
