Maria Dien is a grass-roots practitioner of project management. She served as the lead PM in establishing the infrastructure for one of 5 internal universities within Raytheon, a provider of state-of-the-art electronics and mission systems integration. More recently, she serves a broad diversity of cultures including Brazil, India, China, Germany, Chile, Japan, France, Italy, Russia and Spain at UCI, where she handles 30 caseloads per quarter in regards to training, advising and connecting international interns with Orange County’s innovative technology eco-scape.
Virginia A. Suveiu, Esquire
Attorney & Professor
Virginia A. Suveiu, Esq., counsels on legal risk management, regulatory compliance, as well as commercial and international law matters, from startups to public companies. Virginia also is a public arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and for the OC Bar Association’s Mandatory Fee Arbitration program.
She is an adjunct professor in the School of Business at Concordia University, as well as an instructor at UC Irvine Division of Continuing Education for the Contract Management Certificate Program, Paralegal Certificate Program and the Legal Risk Management Certificate Program, which she developed and was given the Distinguished Instructor Award in 2016. She has published on a variety of legal matters for the National Contract Management Association, National Center for State Courts, the Aerospace and Defense Forum, among others.
She is affiliated with several professional organizations and institutions, having been asked to present to same, including: NCMA-OC, the World Trade Center-San Diego, PMI-OC, PMI-LA, OCRIMS, CPCU, Orange County Paralegal Association, UCI Institute for Innovation as an Expert-in-Residence, Chapman University’s eVillage, Irvine Valley College, and the Native American Procurement Forum. She is an active member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to the U.S. District Court, Central District of California.
