- April – Launched Executive Advisory Council seated by 3 local executives from SCORE/ECofOC organizations
- July – Launched New Member/Volunteer Orientation Training seminars (MVOT), conducted every other month
- August – Reached 1,500 Members (specifically, 1,524 Members by 8/31/05); welcomed 99 new members in August alone (more than double the 2004 monthly average)
- August – Conducted chapter’s first one-day PM conference, PMInAction, on 8/13/06

- February – Conducted first one-day Leadership Seminar for chapter volunteers on 2/24/06, with Jerry Brightman (from PMI Leadership Institute) as guest speaker
- March – Submitted applications for PMI’s Professional Awards for Chapter of the Year, Volunteer Program, Collaboration, and Volunteer of the Year categories
- March – Implemented formal criteria and improved process for recognizing “Volunteer of the Month” and “Volunteer of the Year” Awards
- April – Awarded Hoag Memorial Hospital’s Sue and Bill Gross Women’s Pavilion Project as PMI-OC 2005 Project of the Year
