Robbin Mackenzie Thomas
VP of Operations

Robbin Mackenzie Thomas is an experienced Project Manager with over 20 years of top-level and detailed experience coordinating prime, associate and subcontrator development project teams valued at over $50 million. She is a self-starter with extensive program oversight experience reporting to and collaborating with executives and customers. She has well refined interpersonal & team building skills with ability to motivate professionals towards successful project completion.

Robbin is an active member of the Project Management Institute Orange County, Calif. Chapter. She recently accepted Director of External Marketing position. She co-chaired 2010 Project of the Year award contest and ran the 2009 Career Fair for the chapter. She has led large volunteer project teams for several non-profit organizations for over 12 years. She held director positions for corporate outreach and education for the Amelia Earhart Society within Boeing. She was also instrumental in creating an employee mentoring program.

Robbin is currently on the Project Management Advisory Committee for the University of Redlands. She developed a “Bridge the Gap” program that will complement the certification program commencing early 2011.
She now wants to serve on the PMI-OC Board of Governors to take her strategic planning and team building experience to the next level by assisting PMI-OC to become a premier chapter by:
• Re-energizing membership engagement with chapter activities.
• Assist in creating a cohesive leadership team supporting collaborative chapter goals
• Increase corporate involvement and partnership to enhance member value
• Increase offerings to membership that promote project management knowledge/experience by collaborating with diverse industry experts 

Robbin sees herself as a transformational leader with a strong vision and commitment to support and promote PMI-OC toward exceptional success.
