OCSD is currently looking to fill the role of a CMMS Technician II.
Under general direction, the CMMS Technician II will perform a variety of technical level duties related to the administration of the District’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Major duties will include the administration of IBM-Maximo; creation of asset records and preventive maintenance schedules; creation and updates to equipment information datasheets (EID); creation and maintenance of both scheduled and ad-hoc reports; data analysis to support internal projects and database management; procedure and standards development; and development and deployment of training and training materials related to CMMS to support both the Joint Operating and Capital Improvement budgets. In addition, the selected candidate will gather/research technical information and prepare reports/analysis related to Engineering construction projects or existing installations, control systems, process systems, piping systems, electrical systems, collections infrastructure, and facility infrastructure.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED supplemented by college level or trade school course work in a skilled trade. This position requires a minimum of six (6) years of experience including two (2) years comparable to a CMMS Technician I with the District, and four (4) years of journey-level experience performing duties related to a skilled trade including maintaining, repairing, and installing equipment supplemented by experience with computer systems. Working knowledge, including administration experience with Maximo V5.x, V6.x, V7.x or other major CMMS application (MRO, DataStream, SAP, and Hansen) is required. Working knowledge of electrical and instrumentation principles and practices, principles of hydraulic and pneumatic control systems, preventive and predictive maintenance practices, and occupational hazards and standard safety practices is important. The ability to read and understand instrument control diagrams, electrical single line diagrams, and P&ID diagrams is necessary. Knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of MS Access or other RDBMS is desirable. Proficiency in MS Excel is required. The ability to perform mathematical calculations and apply the results to MS Excel spreadsheets or reports is required. The ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, and prepare training, procedural documents, and detailed reports is required. The selected candidate must be able to work within the treatment plant environment in order to research equipment/process information or apply physical tags to process equipment. Possession of a valid driver’s license is required.

Typical Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will report to the manager of Cost Estimating Programs in the Finance group of the Transmission and Distribution Business Unit (TDBU). The primary function of this position is performing in-depth cost analysis, developing recommendations as the Estimating lead on multi-disciplinary teams for small to medium substation and transmission line projects, and providing consulting to address complex cost estimates that lack precedent and require advanced technical knowledge to resolve. Typical responsibilities include coordinating activities for all cost estimates and financial projections, aggregating and validating cost estimates from various organizations throughout Southern California Edison (SCE), applying SCE cost estimating standards to all elements of the estimate, ensuring cost estimates are controlled, updated and communicated per SCE guidelines, using actual data to conduct post mortem analysis to update assumptions and methodologies. Knowledge Management Coordinator
Responsible for documenting, updating and communicating support center best practices for the global Support organization. Participates in and manages various Support Operations projects and is a primary contributor to the Knowledge Center Support (KCS) initiative, department training programs and managing the department’s documentation. We are looking for someone who has a passion for achieving goals and a history of completing projects. The ideal candidate has 5-9 years of professional experience working in a similar capacity. This position requires a strong attention to detail and strong interpersonal communication skills. The ideal candidate has experience working with multiple people in multiple locations working together to achieve a common goal. Duties

The manager is expected to work independently; activities will include working with directly with the Telcos and DIRECTV cross-functional groups (e.g., Sales Operations, IT, Customer Service, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to identify solutions and enhancements for program operations, documenting the associated requirements, policies and system requirements accordingly.
Responsibilities:
· Manage day to day activities of project and operation managers supporting the Telcos and ensure all project deliverables and timelines are met.
· Serve as the owner / liaison between the business and all other members of the partner ecosystem.
· Identify, trouble shoot and facilitate quick resolution of operational and customer impacting issues that may arise. Provide accurate and timely updates to management and impacted cross-functional departments.
· Own risk mitigation and management process.
· Analyze workflow bottlenecks and streamline processes through establishing policies and procedures and system enhancements, as needed.
· Develop and maintain standard project documentation and instill the discipline to direct reports for creation of project plans, agendas, action items lists, business rules/requirements, test cases, etc.
· Prepare launch go/no go checklists, develop detailed business requirements, confirm technical requirements drafted by IT, and create contingency plans.
· Perform and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with internal business partners and external partners, manage issue and defect resolution with Telco Partners and DIRECTV IT.

The QA Lead is accountable for the overall quality of the systems delivered by validating and verifying that the developed IT solutions meet the product and business requirements and are fit for use in the production environment. The QA Lead is accountable for coordinating the end-to-end testing efforts for the IT organization to meet this goal.
Essential Functions (Time %)
1. Quality Assurance Delivery 45%
· Accountable for delivery of all testing phases for IT projects and final approval and signature from IT and business unit key stakeholders.
· Supervise cross-team resources in completing QA and all testing activities on time, on budget and with quality.
· Accountable for test deliverable and resource estimates for projects.
· Manage the test approach planning, schedule and scope definition for multiple QA efforts at a given time.
· Review and validate requirements and technical specifications.
· Ensure detailed system and User Acceptance Test (UAT) test cases are developed that adequately represent the business application’s needs.
